Can Windows 10 run Android apps?
Microsoft today announced a new feature for Windows 10 that will allow Android phone users to view and use any app on their device from Windows Desktop. This feature, which Microsoft refers to as the app mirroring and shows your phone in Windows as an app called, works best with Android for now. Although Microsoft announced the ability to transfer webpages from the iPhone 10 to a Windows 10 desktop, so you can pick up where you left on mobile.
Regardless, your phone app is an important step in helping Windows 10 and mobile ecosystems after the death of Windows 10.
We were not seen on a comprehensive demo platform, but we took a look at the user who shared snapchat messages with a friend on the surface device using the app-mirroring feature. Microsoft says that this component will currently be accessible with the new Windows 10 October refresh. It starts with the mirror of Android stock tagging and photo apps and iPhone webpage transfer, in which later more fully featured Android apps are supported undisclosed. It's not clear whether future iPhone users will get any additional features for your phone app.
